Kitchen

• Clean inside the oven, including racks and the oven door glass.
• Degrease stovetop grates and burner covers.
• Wipe down cabinet fronts and handles, including above the cabinets if accessible.
• Clean inside the microwave, including the ceiling and turntable plate.
• Pull out the refrigerator and clean behind and beneath it.
• Wipe down the refrigerator door seals and clean interior shelves and drawers.
• Scrub the sink basin and faucet base where mineral build-up collects.
• Clean range hood filters.
• Wash light switch covers and outlet plates.
• Mop under and around appliances, not just the visible floor area.

Bathrooms

• Scrub grout lines on tile floors and walls.
• Remove and clean soap scum from shower doors or curtains.
• Descale the showerhead and faucet aerators.
• Clean the toilet base, behind the toilet, and the tank exterior.
• Wipe down baseboards and the back of the door.
• Clean the exhaust fan cover.
• Wash or wipe down the inside of cabinet doors and drawers.
• Clean mirrors edge to edge, not just the centre.

Bedrooms

• Dust ceiling fan blades, light fixtures, and the tops of door frames.
• Wipe down baseboards and window sills.
• Clean blinds slat by slat or vacuum fabric shades.
• Move furniture and vacuum underneath.
• Wipe down nightstands, dressers, and headboards.
• Clean inside closets including shelves and baseboards.

Living and Common Areas

• Dust all ceiling corners for cobwebs.
• Clean light switches, door handles, and door frames.
• Wipe down baseboards throughout.
• Clean window sills and window tracks.
• Vacuum upholstered furniture, including under cushions.
• Dust entertainment units, shelving, and picture frames.
• Clean glass surfaces like coffee tables and TV screens.

Laundry Room and Utility Spaces

• Wipe down the outside of the washer and dryer.
• Clean the inside of the washing machine drum and door seal.
• Clear the dryer lint trap housing, not just the screen.
• Wipe down shelving and clean behind machines if possible.
